A Note from pastor wolf

Dear friends,

Thank you for your interest in Unity Lutheran Ministries. We are a partnership of two Lutheran congregations in Graettinger and Wallingford Iowa.

Affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, we belong to the Western Iowa Synod of that denomination.

In addition to sharing a pastor, our two congregations share a variety of ministries, including children’s Wednesday education and Vacation Bible School, along with a food pantry and intergenerational Bible studies.

We honor tradition without stagnation. We rely on the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the written word of God and confess Jesus Christ as the eternal Word become flesh, crucified and risen for our salvation. We affirm our Lutheran confessional heritage.

Although there are two worship services, we worship as a family. All are welcome here! We are eager to invite people of all generations, walks of life, and situations to join us in praising God and serving people. The sermons aren’t much, but they’re long enough to give most people an opportunity to go get a snack.
